I need a new trany for my 92 dodge colt, and am having a horrible time finding one. All the part shops and pick a parts have none available. Is there a place online i can get one without paying an arm and a leg, or is ther another car that i can interchange the transmission with? Thanks for your help.

I am considering buying a 2001 Dakota with 93,000 miles. However, some of my friends have Dodge trucks and have warned me about the transmission problems they have. I thought this problem was solved in the late 1990s. Should I worry about this Dakota. Also, has anyone heard of ball joint defects with Dakotas?

I am looking to take out my transmission in my automatic 1994 dodge 4x4 to go get rebuilt but i dont know how so i am needing a step by step instructions or where to go to get a step by step instructions to doing this project i am a hands on person i do construction and millwright work but i just never have taken a transmission out alot of people i talk to says it is easy but i have never did it so i am a little bit unconfident about it thank you

I have a 1991 dodge shadow, whos transmission went a couple weeks ago. I can't seem to find a replacement standard transmission for it. I know someone who has a '93 shadow with a standard transmission but I don't know if it'll fit/work with the '91. Please help...
